Modern inexpensive variations of classic scooters are now being made to mimmic the classic Italian designs at a fraction of the cost. The two-stroke engines and manual transmissions of the early models have now given way to more environmentally friendly four-stroke engines and the manual shifting mechanisms have been replaced by modern CVT automatic transmissions.
Note: Many motorscooters are not available in California (See California Legal Scooters) due to local restrictions, but are legal in other states and some ship worldwide (See International Orders ). See state legality indications on each scooter. We try to keep these current.
Note: TANK Motorscooters are legal in all states including California.

Gas tank capacity is a very respectable 1.6 gallons (unlike the Urban Sporty which holds less than 1 gallon).

It is ideal for the smaller scooterist who wants make an ecological contribution while economizing. With its brushless hub-centered motor, silicon batteries, and intelligent charger, the e-moto 1500 retro would be hard to improve. Its 15-18 mile range could be a severe limitation but would work very nicely for someone with a commute, particularly if it is possible to plug into a charger at both ends of the trip. A governor chip restricts speed to 28 MPH to permit the Retro to qualify fas a moped exempt from licensing requirements in many states.
The silicon battery is a step above standard NIMH batteries in that they continue at full performance level for the length of the charge. These batteries will handle nearly 1000 charges. Availablle in yellow and green (pictured).

The iconic Italian classic design! Very close in appearance to the classic Vespa scooter Gregory Peck and Audrey Hepburn rode together in Roman Holiday (See Motorscooter Image), the Sicilian 150cc follows closely the classic Italian scooter design, with headlight mounted on and turning with the steering column, and all engine parts enclosed in panelling. Disk front brakes; drum brakes in the back. Oddly, though the illustration is very pink, pink is not listed as one of the color options, though apparently, there are more colors available.
The Sicilian 150cc is sold by Global Trailer, which has been selling scooters for over five years and has deserved a reputation for quality and support.
Fully assembled. Residential delivery is an added $30. Comes in Blue, Black, Silver, White - additional colors available.
The Torino is named for the city of Torino (or Turin) located on the Po River in the Piedmont region of northwest Italy. True to the noble origin of its name, the Torino Motorscooter retains the original classic Italian motorscooter lines and styling. With all engine parts covered by pannels, the Torino reflects a subdued elegance. Despite its classic styling, it is a modern scooter in all important respects including a four stroke engine and stepless automatic transmission. Front disc brakes, rear drum brakes, the Torino has a top speed of 50MPH.
The Torino comes from Global Trailer, which has been selling scooters for over five years and has deserved a reputation for quality and support.

The Milano 150 Scooter is modeled upon those noble beasts of Italy (See Italian Motorscooters). Available in Purple, Orange, Black, Red, Pink, and White. A few points about the Milano are worth noting: the maximum load is given as 250 lbs., which is less than that of most 150cc scooters. Also, unlike most scooters designated as 150cc, its engine displacement is actually 147cc, which may not qualify it for highway use (California regulations require at least 149cc displacement for freeway legality.).
Nonetheless, the Eagle has deserved a solid reputation, and this is an excellent price. The vendor, Greenearth Scooters is a major player in supporting the green scooter alternative to gas guzzling vehicles.
