Falcon Electric Scooters

See also:Classic, Basic, Minimalist, High-performance, Luxury, Stand-up, and Electric Motorscooters, California Legal Motorscooters, and mobility scooters.

Falcon Electric Scooters are in a different class from all the more inexpensive motorscooters. They are constructed from parts made in both Taiwan and China. With speeds up to 50 MPH, performance that exceeds that of minimalist scooters, and models in the basic, luxury and classic scooter designs, the Falcon is a top of the line choice for the scooterist who wants to go electric.

The Falcon Vista Electric Scooter
Falcon Vista Electric Scooters

The brushless direct-drive electric motor powers the Falcon scooter with a minimum of moving parts. With standard hydaulic disk brakes and no need for a transmission, maintenance is simple and minimal -- no oil, no gas, no belt replacement. Brakes and tires are about all there is to wear out.

The range of the Falcon is up to 25 miles. It is not for long hauls, but is perfect for a predictable commute. Keep an eye on your car odometer for a while to determine how much you travel in a single day. This will make clear whether an electric scooter will serve your needs. Remember, unlike a gas vehicle, your electric scooter starts with a full tank every morning and can be refuelled anywhere there is an outlet -- it just takes a little time.

Note: additional shipping charges apply and vary by distance and weight. The people at Falcon are very accessible and work individually with every customer to determine battery capacity and shipping. Talk to them for a custom quote.

These are all powerful two-person motorscooters and cannot qualify as electric bicycles. They can qualify as mopeds in many states. See state laws.
